Even if the childish bottle is not in the slightest appealing (to me), I tried it, of boredom if not of interest. Anyway Dot is very safe perfume to wear, tropical fruity, and on me is more warm than fresh so I would say is more appropriate for the winter time than summer, but I guess it all comes down to your skin chemistry.

with a background of vanilla, after a moment it changes to mothballs-like jasmine and ends with a strange fruity-woody notes, leaving me with just a headache. Designed to celebrate Marc Jacobs’ beloved iconic pattern, the eye-catching bottle is a cheerful composition of round shapes stylishly spotted in a polka dot motif. I have never seen nor smelt a real Pitahaya, but I may just have to scout one out now that I see it as a note. It is a mature version of Ralph and Be Delicious , with a gentle touch of red berries, and a balanced mixture of jasmine as well as other other floral scents.

The weird thing is, I can't even remember the exact scent of it despite how much I wore it over the past summer. Dot by Marc Jacobs is a fruity and floral fragrance for women, with red berry, orange blossom and honeysuckle notes. My Lou Lou or pure poison is for when I want to stand out but dot is something I’d wear when I want to smell nice but not strong. It has the juiciness from the fruit that sort of mimics watermelon, and there's a lovely soft floral undertone. A signature heart of jasmine and orange blossoms are made creamy with coconut water, before an embracing dry down of vanilla, lightweight driftwood and musk swirl sweetly on the skin.

This perfume is a striking addition to any dressing table and makes a fun, luxury gift for any fragrance lover. sillage seems good as I put it on the top of my hand and can catch whiffs of it as I am moving around the house doing chores. Despite the fact that Dot is obviously mass-marketed to a young, mid-market demographic I really, really love this! Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. However, since I've enjoyed the scent, I may settle for the rollerball version, which looks actually kind of cute with all those little red dots.

i borrowed it from a friend a few years ago and fell in love with it, finally got around to getting a bottle myself - never looked back. The bottle is gorgeous, I love the colour red and so this goes perfectly with me and it is the most stunning bottle on my vanity and it is up against some stiff competition! Eau de Toilette (EDT): EDT’s are not as highly concentrated in oils and elixirs as an EDP or Perfume would be and contain one to three per cent of fragrance oils. I got it, but I didn’t wear it often because I didn’t like the scent back then and it wasn’t really for an 8 year old. The initial spray on my body is HIDEOUS - very chemical, artificial scent however after an hour I get a nice fruity scent that further dries to a light clean coconut with a hint of fruit.
