I liked the alternative chapters and found each characters point of view easy to follow in this format. The narrator makes too many mouth noises for me and that leaves me distracted from the storyline, what little there is. i am tired of it, its defecting my studies which i need a certificate to stay here rather then going back to where i live. The ending completely threw me - I did pick what had happened and sort of who but not the twist the author spun - very clever. i came from a conservative family which i was following everything my mum or dad would say or even teachers. I was taut with tension and biting my cuticles as my hypotheses bounced among the various suspects, and while I was partly correct I would never have put it all together or as cleverly as this cringe-worthy conclusion.

I would recommend this to anyone''Gripped from the first page - a must read for those thrill seekers''This was brilliant.Collective guilt, moral outrage, and support for helping the poor: A matter of system versus in-group responsibility framing. This comes from the sort of caregiving where a parent or guardian is unable to accept the child fully as they are. This was my first experience reading the well-crafted words of Jackie Kabler and I am kicking myself for not noticing her prior works, she’s got mad word skillz! Many thanks to Rachel Gilbey of Rachel’s Random Resources Blog Tours for inviting me along on this Blog Tour. They can help you identify just how your guilt is running your life, what its roots are, and how you can start to operate from a clearer perspective.

I’ve always been a guilty person, blaming myself for everything that happens, and I always feel like a burden on others. Following on from her humorous murder mystery series, the Cora Baxter Mysteries (The Dead Dog Day, The Deadline and The Development) published by Accent Press, Jackie Kabler has taken a slight change in direction. I would like to thank NetGalley, Killer Reads, HarperCollins and the author Jackie Kabler for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

his Supreme Pictures, which had produced dozens of Western films, planned a series of films featuring African American casts but this was the only one to make it to release. This was a book of multiples - multiple POVs, multiple suspects, multiple twists and misdirections, multiple liars committing multiple selfish and consciously deceitful acts.
