When being interviewed she talks about Hi Hi Kawaii, her show about friendship, love, joy, and real life. Despite this grand interview, it is revealed that Ruby had won and is now featured on the cover, with Poppy congratulating her. Sunny is approached by Lila, learning that she also loves animation. With this shared interest, they both walk off to sit down with Sunny's friends, she even waves at Luna across the room with Ash and Nicole, and starts watching Rainbow Vision.

Jade believes Bella is upset with her because they haven't hung out or talked much since Bella's return. When Bella is leaving to the Sparkle Sister's Ski Lodge for winter break, Jade is the only one who doesn't say goodbye to her, instead shying away with an upset look on her face. During Radiant Week however they seem to have a big fight but they make up and talk a little afterwords. They seem to be on good terms once again for now. Like with Daria and Stella, she is one of Bella's new roommates. She gets along fast with her when Sheryl spills the tea on her new runway group. Sheryl later offered for Bella to join her and Gabriella's Radiant Week team which Bella accepted, together they won and got the opportunity to spend some time at Pacific Coast High.
